Hello, im turning 21 in a few months and about to go to school for physical therapy assistant. There annual salary is around 40-45k a year and i just wanted to know if i can make a good living off of that. Basically i stay home alot and play online pc games. Im not a big party person but i go out every now and then with my friends. My parents will be paying for my schooling and etc. so i dont think ill have bills to pay. Will i be able to live comfortably with 40-45k a year starting off in a apartment and staying home most of the nights. Meaning paying for internet cable and tv cable. I also have a girlfriend and it is getting pretty serious. She is going to be a math teacher and is nearly done with her classes. She is actually really good so im sure she will be making atleast 40-50k a year. She is also a gamer like me and doesnt really go out much either. So if we ended up getting married would both of our salaries combined of lets say 80-90k combined all together be enough for a good living? I also live in lafayette, louisiana. So would 40k a year be enough for me living here in lafayette alone.? and if i get married would 80k year combined be enough salary for both of us and a future family.... Read More »
